ABC’s 20/20 Features Entertainer; Bottle-Signing Set For Sept. 14 In York, PA
(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Toby Keith has been topping the charts as a singer and songwriter since his first self-penned single “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” bowed in 1993. Forbes has named him the top-earning country performer in the nation and his most recent album debuted at the pinnacle of the all-genre sales charts. You might say he’s got a lot of experience with being No. 1 … but he’s never quite done it like this.
Keith’s recently launched Wild Shot Mezcal has been named “the number-one premium mezcal in the U.S. market” by Beverage Media magazine. Profiled in the October issue of the publication, Wild Shot has rocketed through the spirits industry and is already available in 32 states, with more added regularly.

Most recently, Total Wine stores in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Jersey and South Carolina have begun carrying Wild Shot, as well as the company’s outlets in Tampa, Fla. and Claymont, Del. Toby will host a bottle signing in York, PA on Sept. 14 at the local Wine & Spirits store from 3:00 to 4:30pm.
In other Toby news, he was featured in a 20/20 special Sunday on ABC. He was interviewed by Bob Woodruff for the show’s special edition “Remembrance and Renewal: 10 Years After the 9/11 Attacks.”

On the music front, Toby just revealed details for the upcoming Deluxe Edition release of Clancy’s Tavern, out globally Oct. 24. In addition to four new “Incognito Bandito” tracks recorded at his lauded 2010 club date in New York City, the album also features “Made In America.” Keith’s fastest-rising song in years has exploded to the top and is on its way to topping all the major singles charts. Of course, that kind of No. 1 surely feels very familiar.
His North American Ford F-Series sponsored Locked & Loaded tour continues to play standing-room-only venues, and will travel to Europe in late October in support of the new album.

Toby Keith’s got a good thing going with his I Love This Bar & Grill. In fact, he’s got one of the best 25 restaurants in the nation owned by a celebrity, according to The Daily Meal.

The website ranked Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Oklahoma City as No. 22 best celebrity-owned restaurant, which puts Toby in the company of such celebrities as Justin Timberlake, who had his two New York restaurants rank in the Top 25 (Southern Hospitality at No. 23 and Destino at No. 21), Michael Jordan, whose onesixtyblue restaurant in Chicago ranked No. 2, and Tony Hawk, whose Market Restaurant and Bar in Del Mar, Calif., ranked No. 1 on the list.

Toby Keith’s new grill opens at Patriot Place MA

FOXBORO MA- The much anticipated Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill has opened at Patriot Place in Foxboro. Known for its mason jar glasses and 85-foot guitar-shaped bar, the establishment had a soft opening last weekend.
The bar, which was rumored to open in January, has already listed the names of bands playing for the week on its Facebook fan page. The bar also has a mechanical bull, nicknamed Bullet, though it is not yet ready for riders. Bands go on at 9:30 p.m. and visitors should be 21 plus only.
Acts include Thirty6Red on Thursday, Tom Dixon Band on Friday, Kiley Evans on Saturday and, on Sunday, for Toby Rocks night, Fevah Dream.
Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill is open daily, Mondays and Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to midnight, and Wednesdays through Sundays, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
